Thinka, the pioneer in certified Apple HomeKit bridges for KNX, has announced a major software update to its ETS project import feature. Designed to save system integrators hours of manual editing, the update introduces additional flexibility to configuration management.

The ability to selectively import devices is a huge time-saver for integrators using pre-configured master ETS template projects. They can now easily pick and choose exactly which items to import, filtering out unnecessary data.

Non-Destructive Incremental Updates
The updated importer can be run repeatedly to incrementally update a configuration allowing room-by-room configuration.
- Smart Merging: Only new items are added. Existing items are ignored. No duplication.
- Restart: Wipe the configuration and start from scratch. Great for experimenting.
Intelligent, Multilingual Room Recognition
Thinka's upgraded algorithm has smarter multilingual room name recognition. Whether you use "Wohnzimmer", "Séjour", "Huiskamer", or "Living Room", the bridge maps devices into their correct Apple Home rooms.
