Use the regular lightbulb service for switching or dimming a simple light (without color or color temperature control). You must provide the group addresses for switching and reporting the on/off state of the light. Optionally you can provide the group addresses for controlling the brightness of the light (0-100%). The group object for absolute dimming must be used, relative dimming is not supported.
Use the color lightbulb service for any light that can change color. Besides providing the group address for switching and reporting the on/off state of the light you must also provide the datapoint type used for color control and the switching and status addresses of the corresponding group addresses.
There are also other items that you can choose from Color Datapoint Type parameter;
You can choose one of the options according to how the device works. For instance, the device might accept the color value as Red/Green/Blue instead of Hue/Saturation/Brightness.
The images below shows the group objects with regards to the item selection
You should provide the group addresses for the Red/Green/Blue
Some devices also have white channel. If so, you choose Red/Green/Blue/White (4 or 6 bytes) from the options and enter the group addresses for both Set and Listen
The image above shows the group addresses for separate color channels. This means that all the colors are controlled by individual group addresses. So that you should provide all of the group addresses for RGB(W) channel
Use the tunable white lightbulb service for any non-colored light that can adjust the apparent color temperature (warm white to cool white). Besides providing the group address for switching and reporting the on/off state of the light you must also provide the group address to switch the brightness and color temperature and the group addresses of the brightness and color temperature state objects. You can set the parameters Minimum color temperature and Maximum color temperature separately according to the feature of the device.
There is another parameter named Color temperature group objects that you might want to change for Tunable White light bulbs. You can choose one of them from the options shown below
If the parameter is chosen as "separate color temperature in Kelvin (DPT 7.600)" or "separate color temperature in % (DPT 5.001)", then you should fill the group addresses for both Brightness and Color temperature (°K or %) individually
